The United States is being destroyed

by a Wall Street-Washington Cartel

We the People ask for voluntary term limits

And the resignation of members of Congress who have served more than three terms of office.

As a whole, both parties have equally subverted the Constitution and the will of the people.  You no longer represent the best interests of this nation; rather, you are now beholden to special interests.  Too many of you failed to abide by the oath you swore to uphold the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.  Instead, you’ve done your best to dilute those guarantees.

Case in point-taxation.  Despite warnings from the Supreme Court in the 1890s against taxing individuals, something our Constitution prohibited, you rammed an amendment down our collective throats violating the spirit of the law.  This led to unbridled government growth, exceeding Constitutional authority, fiscal irresponsibility and excessive national debt.  You relinquished monetary control and handed it to a group which does not answer to the People – the Federal Reserve bankers.

The American People now work for the government nearly six months a year. Effectively making us serfs.

You’ve allowed the violation of other Constitutional laws in such areas as gun control, search and seizure laws, no-knock entry by law enforcement, surreptitious snooping laws, war making policy, the creation of fiat (unbacked) currency, and other areas our Founding Fathers warned us against.

George Washington, in his farewell address admonished us against these practices:

“The basis of our political systems is the right of the people to make and to alter their Constitutions of Government.—But the Constitution which at any time exists, ’till changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole People, is sacredly obligatory upon all.—The very idea of the power and the right of the People to establish Government presupposes the duty of every individual to obey the established Government.

…cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the Power of the People, and to usurp for themselves the reins of Government; destroying afterwards the very engines, which have lifted them to unjust dominion.

I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the State…

the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of Party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.—

  22

It serves always to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms, kindles the animosity of one part against another, foments occasionally riot and insurrection.—It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which find a facilitated access to the Government itself through the channels of party passions.

As a very important source of strength and security, cherish public credit.—One method of preserving it is, to use it as sparingly as possible.—avoiding occasions of expense by cultivating peace, but remembering also that timely disbursements to prepare for danger frequently prevent much greater disbursements to repel it—avoiding likewise the accumulation of debt, not only by shunning occasions of expense, but by vigorous exertions in time of Peace to discharge the debts which unavoidable wars may have occasioned, not ungenerously throwing upon posterity the burthen which we ourselves ought to bear.”

Public opinion no longer concurs with how our country is being operated.  You, as leaders, have ignored the challenges our country faces (no national alternative energy policy, illegal immigration, tort reform, wars without provocation, unrepayable national debt, etc.) and have placed this country and its people into the most dangerous position it has ever faced; one that will affect every future generation.

Many of you, run for other offices, ignoring your Congressional duties while still collecting your salary and perks. Many of you sneak expensive riders into bills, which do not benefit the American people.  Many of you get sweetheart deals from bankers and other special interests.  Most of you, have forgotten your duty to represent the people.

In the last 35 years, you have bankrupted this country, fed our foreign enemies through a national oil addiction, and have eroded the Bill of Rights.

Our Founding Fathers, who served this country without compensation, never intended that “public servants” stay in office for life.  We sincerely ask that you resign your office.

If you agree with this, send it to your Congressman or Senator:

Why We Need Term Limits!

U.S. House & Senate have voted themselves $4,700 and $5,300 raises.

1.     They voted to not give you a S.S. Cost of living raise in 2010 and 2011.
2.
Your Medicaid premiums will go up $285.60 for the 2-years and
You will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr. Your total 2-yr loss and cost is

-$1,600 or -$3,200
for husband and wife.

3.     Over 2-yrs they each get $10,000

4.     Do you feel SCREWED?
5.
Will they have your cost of drugs - doctor fees - local taxes - food, etc., increase?
NO WAY
. They have a raise and better benefits. Why care about you? You never did anything about it in the past. You obviously are too stupid or don't care.

6.     Do you really think that Nancy, Harry, Chris, Charlie, Barnie, et al, care about you?

Maybe it's time for:
Amendment 28

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United
States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives,
and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators or
Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the US.”
